Dr. Christopher A. Stone Chris Stone is the Senior Pastor and Founder of Unity Worship Center Church of God In Christ of Burlington. He is also the founder and Executive Director of People That Care, Inc. a 501(c)(3), faith-based, non-profit organization that provides community support, educational, job skills, life support, mentoring and substance abuse services to children and families in the Alamance County area. Dr. Stone is the founder and President of “Successful Mind Ministries, Inc.” a organization whose purpose is educate, empower and enrich the lives of people for successful living through books, conferences, products and seminars. He is an ordained Elder, District Superintendent of The Success District and First Administrative Assistant to Bishop Patrick L. Wooden Sr. – Jurisdictional Prelate of North Carolina Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction in the Church of God In Christ, Inc. denomination. Prior to beginning pastoral ministry in 2001, Dr. Stone faithfully served under the leadership his late spiritual father and Pastor - Bishop Otis Lockett Sr. of Evangel Fellowship Church of God In Christ in Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Stone is Bible Preacher and Teacher who proclaims the uncompromising truths of the Word of God; he’s a community advocate for the under-served, unprivileged, at-risk youth and families of Alamance County and he is a servant and visionary leader who seeks to serve the purposes of God. Dr. Stone is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Public Administration. He also completed graduate studies at UNC-Greensboro in Counseling Education and Marriage & Family Counseling. He also holds an earned Doctoral Degree in Theology through Gospel Schools of the Bible. He and his wife, Nadine resides in Burlington, North Carolina. They have four daughters, four son-in-laws and three grandchildren: Latisha (Kemontra Richmond and sons Karter and Kaleb), Christina (Daniel Bridges), Christal (Antonio Southern), Princess (Bryson Moon and daughter Kynslee).
